Package: Linux-image-amd64
Version: 4.17+97~bpo9+1

Have two NIC in a bonded configuration. Has been fine up to and including kernel 4.16.0-0.bpo.2 (4.16.16-2~bpo9+1 (2018-06-26)). Picked up updated kernel via apt-get and upon reboot bonded ports fail. Revert back to prior kernel and bonded ports are working again. No other packages were updated.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
