package: upgrade-reports, linux-image-3.16.0-4-powerpc
tags: powerpc

Hi,

I've upgraded my old PowerMac from wheezy to jessie, which failed like shown
below. On boot now, yaboots boots the correct kernel but then after loading
the initramfs the fontsize switches to "gigantic" (8 lines, 25 chars per line
or so) and it goes into a systemd rescue environment, I believe.

I havent investigated further (it's my last powerpc, about to be
decommissioned), so I'm filing this bug report so that this doesnt get lost:

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
