Package: linux-image-4.9.0-3-amd64 Version: 4.9.110-3+deb9u6 Severity: minor After changing my MacBookPro10,1 SSD harddrive (using calistouk adaptor msata ssd for A1398) and re-installing it, everything was back in shape. I was able to do multiple reboot cycle without experiencing any issues. It turns out that after unplugging and re-plugging the hard drive I am experiencing a failure to boot completely. I can complete a boot in single mode (root console). But after Ctrl+d the system fails to boot completely (see attached screenshot). Removing 'quiet' mode from grub does not expose anything obvious in boot messages. This may be a low level SSD issue (or even calistouk specific), but I could not find anyone else experiencing this sort of issue. What I fail to understand is that I can boot in single mode just fine, so this is something that happen later (module specific loading ?). Any suggestions to expose more verbosity and eventually try to narrow down the issue ?Attachment: MacBookProSSD.jpg

Hi This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself without resolution. If you can reproduce it with - the current version in unstable/testing - the latest kernel from backports please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control for details. Regards, Salvatore
