Source: linux
Version: linux-image-4.2.0-1-amd64
Severity: important

Networking completely stops working with kernel versions linux-image-4.2.0-1-amd64 and
linux-image-4.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 on Hyper-V. It's happened with jessie and sid VMs. With
the backport version I get this error printed in the console:

hv_netvsc vmbus_0_14 eth0: timeout before we got a set response...

Disabling all hardware acceleration in the VM settings had no effect and there was
no issues with older versions.

This bug was filed for a very old kernel. If you can reproduce it with
- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from buster.backports
please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
