Package: src:linux
Version: 3.16.7-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Wifi does not connect with kernel 3.16-3 or newer. Wifi is on, and available networks are shown in the Network Manager, but it fails to connect.

Kernel 3.16-3, 3.16-0.4 and 3.17-1 are affected. The problem disappears if I reboot with the old kernel 3.16-2, and wifi works as usual.

My wireless device is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless N 7260, and the driver in use is firmware-iwlwifi 0.43.

Dmesg log is

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.
