Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.46-1
Severity: normal

During a scheduled shutdown, the kernel crashed and locked up. the
monitor showed several more failures after the one that got recorded
below (i can attach a screenshot if that would be useful), but i
believe this is the first visible symptom (the timestamps on the
backtraces visible on the monitor are all 51010.*, about 10 minutes
later than the first NULL pointer dereference). After a reboot, the
machine comes up fine. the RAM has been tested via memtest86+, no
errors shown.

note that this is a 64-bit kernel with a 32-bit userland.

without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.
