which annoys a lot.  I am not sure yet if there is any "functional" effect
besides pollution of the logs and annoyance of the users.

The closest hits I found online are

upgrading to  3.3.0 from 3.2.9-1.fc16.x86_64

- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003081
with 3.2.0-24.37-generic-pae
the issue "Expired"

FWIW this is the only node having 64 cores and 512GB RAM, the next one has half
of that -- might be relevant.


For now trying a tentative workaround to at least suppress those (found on
http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/Documentation/RCU/stallwarn.txt)
