Package: pm-utils
Version: 1.4.1-9
Severity: normal

After coming out of hibernation I am no longer able to use function controls to
control brightness.

This does not occur with pm-suspend only pm-hibernate.

command:
echo 1 | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness

decreases and increases brightness.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
