General Setup:

a Fujitsu RX200S6 Server on a FC-HBA (delivered by Fujitsu) QLogic QLE2562MMF. The Server is running under Debian GNU/Linux
Squeeze (stable) with Kernel 3.2.0-0.bpo.4-amd64 form debian-backports.
The Server is connected over fibrechannel to an Eurostor ES6612NF RAID.

Versions of incorporated software are:

qla2xxx driver: QLogic Fibre Channel HBA Driver: 8.03.07.12-k.
BIOS:		04.06.02
("Multi-boot Image for 8Gb Fibre Channel Adapters" from Qlogic")
->  * 8Gb BIOS version 2.10
    * 8Gb FCode version 2.04
    * 8Gb EFI version 2.04
    * Firmware version 4.06.02
    * FlasUtil version 1.78

Problem Description:
The FC Link comes up and the RAID is working properly: The FS can be mounted
and it is read- and writeable. After a while, even with no load, the FS gets
remounted read-only (ro), after the following error (from
syslog):

Because the FS is mounted with the flag (errors=remount-ro) the FS gets
mounted ro after this event occured.

Comment:
The error is strange: It says it got 1000 of 1000 Bytes, which in my opinion
is not an error. I might do not understand the error correct though.

Further information:
We have an almost identical setup on another server, where this behavior
doesn't occur. The only differnecies in setup of the working machine are:
  - FW Version of QLE2562 is 4.04.05 (80) (opposed to 04.06.02)
  - EUROstor ES-6616F4-512 (opposed to ES-6612NF-512)
  - less RAM, only 1 Xeon X5650 CPU (opposed to 2 CPUs of the same type)
Apart from that the systems are identical.

We also observed this bug with linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel and with new Qlogic firmware 5.0.
In fact we downgraded to QLogic firmware 4.06, because the other server with 4.04 is running without problems.
