I have opened the MR to remove libtracevent from kernel at:
https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/merge_requests/275.
And the new package for libtraceevent is at:
https://salsa.debian.org/sudip/libtraceevent.
I have not uploaded yet, just thought if you will like to have a look at
it first (specially the copyright for debian/*).
