Bug#971694: linux-image-5.7.0-0.bpo.2-amd64: Front audio ports do not work on Gigabyte X570 GAMING X motherboard

Dear Maintainer,

I just finished setting up my desktop with a Gigabyte X570 GAMING X
motherboard
and the rear audio ports work fine, but I cannot get audio out of the front
headphone jack or use a microphone with the front microphong jack.  In
pavucontrol, I can explicitly set the output and input ports to the front
ports, but that does not make them work.  I have also tried stopping
pulseaudio
to see whether they would work just bare ALSA, but that made no difference.
