Bug#971535: this package makes my laptop almost unbootable

Hi,
I am now running the kernel one version older because I cannot boot my
laptop with the newer kernel which I am reporting this bug against.
What happens, when it tries to boot, is that it searches for mdadm raids
and then falls back into busybox inside initramfs.
Normally, my laptop proceeds to ask for a LUKS passphrase to open the
container, but somehow, with this package, the initrd was not created
correctly (I presume).
