Bug#966228: linux-image-5.7.0-1-amd64: audio on Dell XPS 13 9380 not working on 5.7.0-1-amd64

Dear Maintainer,

I have a Dell XPS 13 9380 with the Dell Thunderbolt TB16 dock.  The dock
has built-in audio, which gets used when I'm docked.  This audio works
just *fine* using the Debian kernel 5.6.0-2-amd64, as well as the
upstream 5.6.5 and 5.8.0-rc6 kernels (built using "make bindeb-pkg").
However, audio out from the Thunderbolt TB16 dock is BROKEN on the
linux-image 5.7.0-1-amd64 kernel from Debian.

The exact details of how the sound fails is that it plays a tiny sliver
of sound (a fraction of a second; maybe a tenth of a second?), and then
nothing for the about half a second, and then another sliver of sound.
If you switch to the built-in audio in the laptop, it works.

Here are relevant kernel logs from the realtek driver (the Thunderbolt
Audio is USB-attached).  These kernel logs are identical between kernels
which work and those that don't work, so it doesn't appear to be an
issue of detecting or configuring the audio hardware in the TB16:
