I'm still having the same problem in the current Debian testing. Reproduced with a live cd and an installed system (bullseye-20200511): debian-live-testing-amd64-kde+nonfree.iso Package: firmware-realtek-20190717-2 It wasn't fun to find out what's wrong. So please fix this :-) Looks like kernel.org has that file in both places.
