Bug#954088: Please enable GVT-g support
Package: linux-image-amd64
Version: 5.4.19-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi Ben,
please consider enabling the following settings in the Debian kernel:
(mediated devices, needed to enable the lower settings)
CONFIG_VFIO_MDEV=m
CONFIG_VFIO_MDEV_DEVICE=m
(enable kvm/xen support for gvt)
CONFIG_DRM_I915_GVT=y
CONFIG_DRM_I915_GVT_KVMGT=m
CONFIG_DRM_I915_GVT_XENGT=m
This will allow people to create a virtual GPU with mdevctl to pass through to
VMs, allowing them to use hw acceleration in guests.
Thank you for your work!
Lee
