Bug#950578: (no subject)



Just going to point out that the 5.x equivalent patch has now been applied to Linux mainline as per:

Could we get some acknowledgement that this patchset is being looked at for possible integration and isn't falling through the cracks?

This has been opened for more than a month now, and, notwithstanding the patch update above, it's quite damaging for Raspberry Pi users that the 10.3 update didn't include these changes, as it would have enabled them to install Debian from the vanilla 10.3 release ISO whereas Pi 4 users will have to wait months before that happens...

So, can someone please look at this request and at least acknowledge it?
