Bug#935967: linux-image-5.2.0-2-amd64: QEMU does not save KVM VMs after kernel upgrade to 5.2.0
Package: src:linux
Version: 5.2.9-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I upgraded (simply just apt-get -y dist-upgrade) Debian Testing (next stable, Bullseye) from 4.19.0-5-amd64 to 5.2.0-2-amd64.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
virsh managedsave name-of-my-vm
* What was the outcome of this action?
error: Failed to save domain test3 state
error: internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'migrate': Nested VMX virtualization does not support live migration yet
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Save it as usually. I don't use nested virtualization so the error message is wrong. I booted back to Kernel 4.19.0-5-amd64 and everything works fine, VMs can be saved.
I have same the issue on a different computer with Debian Bullseye so it's not just this one.
