Bug#932333: linux-image-amd64: Black screen with AMDGPU driver on DVI outpout, using a Polaris GPU and default options

Package: linux-image-amd64
Version: 4.19+105
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Since I upgraded my debian installation from stretch to buster, I have black screen issues with the default kernel.
It comes when I boot or I resume after a suspend-to-ram, only with the DVI output.
HDMI or Display Port outputs are not affected.

The GPU is a Sapphire Pulse RX 570 8 GB.
The package firmware-amd-graphics is installed.

If amdgpu.dc=0 is set, the DVI output works as excepted.

Since there is not any other kernel available for buster, I compiled manually the latest linux kernel.
This version (5.2.1) works perfectly.

Best regards
