I double checked and that's indeed the initramfs file that is used.
In grub config is as such :
linux /boot/vmlinuz-5.2.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
root=UUID=58063ba7-15cf-4581-bf43-5da4b3486394 ro quiet zswap.enabled=1
zswap.max_pool_percent=20 drm.edid_firmware=DVI-D-1:edid/1024x768_75-F15.bin
initrd /boot/initrd.img-5.2.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
Removing "drm.edid_firmware=DVI-D-1:edid/1024x768_75-F15.bin" doesn't
workaround the issue.
