Bug#932159: drm:i915_gem_init_stolen *ERROR* Stolen reserved area outside stolen memory zone

Hi,

I should have filed this bug two years ago, because I'm guessing a fix
for this hardware requires an upstream quirk.

I forget how old the original installation was...probably squeeze, but
I upgraded to each stable release since then, plus one hardware
upgrade.  The kernel log that was auto inserted via report bug was
useless, so I've attached the relevant portions of one I manually
captured.  This bug is also applicable to all stretch kernels.

I somewhat worked around this issue on stretch, using
"enable_mtrr_cleanup mtrr_spare_reg_nr=1", but even then, a variety of
opengl and vaapi conditions trigger hard locks.  OpenGL performance is
also frequently worse than my X220 (SandyBridge), even though this
Haswell IGPU should be superior in every way.

Oh, also importantly, I'm booting using UEFI with CSM disabled;
although, IIRC the bug is still present when booting with legacy BIOS.

I've confirmed it's still present in upstream 4.19.59, even with NUMA
and paravirtualisation disabled.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help debug and
facilitate quick resolution of this bug.

Regarding: [    0.346133] pmd_set_huge: Cannot satisfy [mem 0xf8000000-0xf8200000] with a huge-page mapping due to MTRR override.
...I'm not overriding it.  Maybe a BIOS bug?
