Bug#931307: linux-image-4.9.0-9-amd64: Problems with Samba Shares?
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.9.168-1+deb9u3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
after upgrading to the latest linux-image-adm64 on stretch we're experiencing strange issues on a
fileserver with samba: directory listings in subfolder of shares don't work after upgrading to
4.9.168-1+deb9u3 on the clients. I've rebooted the machine to linux-image-4.9.0-8-amd64 - with that
version everything is working.
So I'm wondering if there are other users which experience similar problems with the latest
kernel and samba?
Thanks,
Werner
