Bug#910428: linux-image-4.18.0-2-amd64: linux 4.18.10 drastically increases power consumption for polaris on idle
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.18.10-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
with 4.18.10 the power consumption on idle with polaris chips increases drastically. More info can be found on https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=AMDGPU-4.18-Power-Draw. The Bug is already reported upstream https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201275 but seems to be fixed only in 4.19 (https://www.phoronix.com/forums/forum/phoronix/latest-phoronix-articles/1051996-some-amd-gpus-affected-by-a-nasty-power-regression-that-snuck-into-linux-4-18-stable/page7#post1052210)
