Bug#907175: 4.9.0-8-686-pae swapon failed invalid argument

Further to my mail on 7 Sept 2018,

I have prevented the faulty 32-bit kernel package linux-image-4.9.0-8-686-pae from installing by adding an apt preferences file on affected VMware VMs :
	/etc/apt/preferences.d/BAN_linux_image-4.9.0-8-686-pae.pref

which contains these 3 lines :-

Package: linux-image-4.9.0-8-686-pae
Pin: version 4.9.110-3+deb9u4
Pin-Priority: -1
