Bug#904822: linux-image-4.17.0-1-amd64: Freeze/timing/interrupt problems since 4.17

The machine ran for two days withh these options, and no strange I/O
freeze happened. It is still a bit early to be sure, but it seems to be
the culprit. Thanks for your help.

If you need any extra information to bring the fix to other people who
might be affected, please let me know.

No. This machine is a mini-PC, not a laptop, it only runs on sector.

By the way, the hard drive is a 7200 RPM 2.5"; they are uncommon, it
could be related to the issue.
