Bug#872357: firmware-realtek: weak signal
Package: firmware-realtek
Version: 20161130-3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
My hardware is rtl8723be and when booting my debian it shows this errors
on dmesg:
[ 2.646419] Bluetooth: hci0: rtl: examining hci_ver=06 hci_rev=000b lmp_ver=06 lmp_subver=8723
[ 2.646421] Bluetooth: hci0: rtl: loading rtl_bt/rtl8723b_config.bin
[ 2.646546] [drm] Replacing VGA console driver
[ 2.647074] bluetooth hci0: firmware: failed to load rtl_bt/rtl8723b_config.bin (-2)
[ 2.647081] bluetooth hci0: Direct firmware load for rtl_bt/rtl8723b_config.bin failed with error -2
[ 2.647083] Bluetooth: hci0: rtl: loading rtl_bt/rtl8723b_fw.bin
[ 2.647594] bluetooth hci0: firmware: direct-loading firmware rtl_bt/rtl8723b_fw.bin
[ 2.648432] Bluetooth: hci0: rom_version status=0 version=1
[ 2.648446] Bluetooth: cfg_sz 0, total size 22496
Also this hardware is responsible for my wifi connection and it seems to
have weak signal right now. On previous kernel 4.11.x i have also this
problem by i pass a parameter in kernel module and it worked fine.
Specifically i used this:
in /etc/modprobe.d/xxx.conf
options rtl8723be ant_sel=1
If you need any further info please feel free to ask.
