If there is a fix already in Aranym, I don't think we should add any
quirks to the kernel. I haven't actually run into the problem myself
as the Aranym version on my laptop is recent enough. And since there
is a simple work-around for those who are not able to upgrade their
version of Aranym yet, I don't think further action is required.

I agree with you and Michael. If the kernel behaves fine on real
hardware, there is no point in trying to fix the bug there.
