Package: src:linux
Version: 3.16.43-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

irtual server with 3 network adapters randomly fails to add one of ethX at the boot time with errors:

hv_netvsc vmbus_0_12 (unregistered net_device): unable to establish receive buffer's gpadl
hv_netvsc vmbus_0_12 (unregistered net_device): unable to connect to NetVSP - -12

hv_netvsc vmbus_0_14: Device MAC 00:15:5d:ff:03:50 link state up

~$ ls /sys/class/net/
eth0 eth1 lo

If driver hv_netvsc is manually unregisterd and registered again all ethX devices are discovered:

~$ ls /sys/class/net/
eth0 eth1 eth2 lo

How reproducible: happens once every four-five boots, if using /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules three to four times every five boots
