Bug#859639: linux-image-4.9.0-2-amd64: random crashes on Thinkpad X201s

Hi,

no improvement with latest kernel:

> Linux x201s 4.9.0-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.25-1 (2017-05-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux

The system doesn't really crash though: it shows a black screen with 
flickering borders on the left and at the top of the screen. This 
behaviour can be reproduced reliably within half an hour.

Could somebody please drop me a note whether this bug is of any interest 
to anyone?
