Package: src:linux Version: 4.9.2-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Ever since linux-image-4.9.0-amd64 showed up in unstable, I've been unable to use it on my laptop, a Dell Latitude E6530. After boot, the display manager never shows the X login screen. Eventually, I see messages like the following: INFO: task worker/1:1:68 blocked for more than 120 seconds Tainted: P OE 4.9.0-1-amd64 #1 INFO: task Xorg:837 blocked for more than 120 seconds Tainted: P OE 4.9.0-1-amd64 #1 That pair of messages repeats a few times on the console. I was unable to run reportbug successfully under linux-image-4.9.0. I could get through the first several reportbug questions, but it never launched the editor. Also, I cannot reboot from linux-image-4.9.0. Instead I have to hold down the power button until pwer cuts off. To make this report, I had to install the kernel from stable. -- Package-specific info: ** Kernel log: boot messages should be attached ** Model information sys_vendor: Dell Inc. product_name:
