Is there anything happening on this?The change has pretty minimal performance impact (testing in the linked launchpad bug only showed measurable performance impact on ext2/ext3 and no other filesystem) and a reasonable memory impact, but can be a huge improvement in security (actively if used with signed binaries, passively if just using the logging policy).
