Package: linux-image-marvell Version: 4.9+78~bpo8+1 The package linux-image-marvell for jessie-backports is in a broken state, as can be seen on the debian package website: https://packages.debian.org/jessie-backports/linux-image-marvell it shows version "4.9+78~bpo8+1" and a dependency on "linux-image-4.9.0-0.bpo.1-marvell" which is shown as "Package not available". The links on the right side to the Changelog and the Download all refer to version "79~bpo8+1". That version has the correct dependency (ABI was bumped to bpo.2), but somehow it is not properly released. apt on the target machine also only finds the old version "4.9+78~bpo8+1". So it looks like the new version "79~bpo8+1" did not make it into the release database correctly. As a result, the Linux kernel dependencies on the target machine are also in a weird state, as the bpo.2 releases show up as currently not installed instead of as updates to the bpo.1 release. Best Regards, Robert Schlabbach

Version: 4.9+79~bpo8+2 This is not a bug in the package; the new version just hasn't been built for armel yet: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=linux-latest&suite=jessie-backports Ben. -- Ben Hutchings If at first you don't succeed, you're doing about average.Attachment: signature.asc
