Bug#855226: firmware-linux-nonfree: missing firmware for Broadcom bluetooth device
Package: firmware-linux-nonfree
Version: 0.43
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
Firmware for bluetooth adapter 0a5c:21e8 can be found at
http://plugable.com/2014/06/23/plugable-usb-bluetooth-adapter-solving-hfphsp-
profile-issues-on-linux/. Without this firmware, audio will not work over
bluetooth with this adapter. The same firmware can be used for 0a5c:21e6, but
needs to be renamed appropriately. Workaround is to follow the instructions on
the web site to download and install the firmware to /lib/firmware.
