Package: espeak
Version: 1.46.02-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
Espeak does not start normally and throws out the error message:
ALSA lib pcm.c:7339:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occurred
Hundreds of times. It does it when the computer has been on for a while.
A reset is needed before it returns to normal for a few hours then the same problem shows up again.

Hi Samuel,

No the bug must have been fixed at some point. I forgot I even submitted this.

Still use espeak extensively, thanks for contributing to a wonderful program.

Regards,
Anton

Hello,

Really sorry this apparently went unnoticed for so long.

Is it still an issue today?

Since espeak is not running all that time along, this really rather
looks like a kernel bug, thus reassigning.

Samuel
