Bug#878866: usbip configuration is not usable
Package: linux-source-4.13
Version: 4.13.4-2
Severity: normal
Hi, the current debian configuration of usbip is unusable (client):
CONFIG_USBIP_CORE=m
CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_HCD=m
CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_HC_PORTS=31
CONFIG_USBIP_VHCI_NR_HCS=8
CONFIG_USBIP_HOST=m
CONFIG_USBIP_VUDC=m
# CONFIG_USBIP_DEBUG is not set
usbip attach fails with "too many ports" error.
I've lowerd to 4 ports and 1 host and it works,
the kernel default is 8 ports 1 host, but I think 4 is enough
Regards
