Bug#870089: Buggy boot Debian 9.x
In addition to the previously submitted issue, some more info...
CPU fan runs 24/7 and never shut off.
If I connect my USB hub and it's three USB tuners, boot fails 8 out of
ten times.
It goes into some type of race condition, blank screen and CPU fan
running at full speed.
Or keeps looping through previously submitted issues forever.
Please note NONE of these issued are/were present under Debian 8 Jessie,
except the fan running 24/7.
Just for the heck of, wiped the hard disk, install openSUSE 42.3 and it
works flawlessly!
NONE of the above issues.
CPU fan cycles off like it should
Makes no difference what peripherals I connect, it still boots flawlessly.
Well there you go, hope you can resolve this and make Debian usable again
