Bug#867011: linux 4.9.30-2+deb9u1 wifi problem

Hello,

Sorry, I moved this box to another distro, since I couldn't get connection and therefore couldn't use reportbug.

Yes, I meant rt2800usb, and I clearly mean Debian 9 here. Linux package was updated after installation, so netinstall image runs kernel that works, but after net install and I end up with updates kernel which does not work.

Sorry that I cannot help with other info currently, but if you check difference between two versions, you might find the problem.

Thank you for your answer.

This package doesn't provide an rt2870usb driver.  Did you mean
rt2800usb?

Did you mean 'Debian 8' here?

You haven't provided any useful information here.  You should send:

- a kernel log covering the system boot and the time at which the wifi
interface is disconnected (from dmesg)
- the wifi device ID (from lsusb)
- the version of firmware-misc-nonfree (from dpkg -s)

Please also use the 'reportbug' command in future, as that will collect
this sort of information automatically.

Ben.
