Bug#853151: linux-image-4.9.0-1-686-pae: Wifi does not work; works with 4.8.0-2

Package: src:linux
Version: 4.9.2-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where
appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
When booting with linux-image-4.9.0-1-686-pae, wifi does not work. I can
connect to my wifi network (and get a valid DHCP address) but there is
no traffic (can not ping my gateway). If booting with the previous
(still installed) kernel (linux-image-4.8.0-2-686-pae/4.8.15-2), wifi
works fine.

Wifi card model is:
$ lspci|grep -i wifi
01:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8188CE
802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter (rev 01)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
