Bug#833925: nfs-kernel-server: no_root_squash broken on amd64
Control: merge -1 783212
This is almost certainly another special case of Bug #783212.
I have tested the export line
/home -no_subtree_check 10.0.0.1(ro,no_root_squash,sync)
matching the original bug report with version 1.2.8-9 on
jessie/i386 and jessie/amd64. In both cases no_root_squash was overwritten
by a default security flavour containing root_squash as detailed in
Bug #783212, leading to "Permission denied" errors.
I strongly suspect a configuration difference on the used amd64 and i386
systems as the reason the bug was reported against amd64 only. To make
absolutely sure it would be necessary to see the exact export lines, the
output of exportfs -v and the contents of /var/lib/nfs/etab on both a
non-working amd64 as well as a working i386 system.
