Bug#823907: linux-image-3.16.0-4-amd64: kernel panic when trying to mount a cephfs ressource
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u3
Severity: critical
Tags: upstream
Justification: breaks the whole system
Dear Maintainer,
On the latest debian jessie standard kernel, when trying to mount a cephfs ressource, the system hangs (kernel panic). The problem is known upstream (ceph) and discussed here :
http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/15302
An accurate description of the problem is here :
http://lists.ceph.com/pipermail/ceph-users-ceph.com/2016-April/008848.html
I'm running reportbug with the previous kernel (many thanks to http://snapshot.debian.org/). The correct version that has the bug is : 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u4
Regards
