Not deliberately - I got confused by linux → linux-signed naming: 
Checking for existing bugs I saw bug#841453 and checked it out, but 
stopped at its getting reassigned to another package.  Only now thanks 
to your terse remark did I read again in full, realizing that the other 
package was the very one I had problem with myself :-P
