Possible to backport commit a03e6fe569713fb3ff0714f8fd7c8785c0ca9e22 to 4.6 kernel package?

would it be possible to include a03e6fe569713fb3ff0714f8fd7c8785c0ca9e22
into the 4.6 backports kernel?

Without this patch every kernel from 4.6.1 panics when deleting the
ingress qdisc. Almost every firewall/traffic shaper script panics the
system when reloaded.

The named commit seems to be included in 4.7-rc3. Maybe it could be
pulled into 4.6? Right now the only usable backports kernel for us is
linux-image-4.5.0-0.bpo.2-amd64.
