Bug#824811: firmware-realtek: rtl8192ce doesn't transfer data
Package: firmware-realtek
Version: 20160110-1~bpo8+1 & 0.43
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Trying to connect to my WiFi LAN and access Internet.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Effective: network scan, connection itself
Ineffective: data transfer (router ping, Internet access)
Additionally:
- please see "Networking> No Internet through WiFi" SolydX board
- assume my router setup is OK - works through eth0
- notice rtl8192cu is working with my "Asus USB N-10 Nano" dongle
- "lspci -nn" line for my PCI WiFi device:
02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8192CE PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [10ec:8178] (rev 01)
- "lsusb" line for my "Asus USB N-10 Nano"
