Severity: important
Linux is successfully runnin gon this computer for ages, but since upgrading to
linux-image-4.4.0-1-amd64 network does not work anymore. The same holds for the
linux-image-4.5.0-trunk-amd64 package from experimental. I had to go back to
4.3.0.
Anyhow, the error is kind of cryptic. The device is seen and can be configured,
but not fired. Here's a try:
