Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.123 Upgrading initramfs-tools creates non working initrds if you don't upgrade coreutils; Adding config /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume Adding binary-link /sbin/modprobe ln: invalid option -- 'r' Try `ln --help' for more information. Adding binary /bin/kmod Adding library-link /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (...) Fix was: Unpacking coreutils (8.24-1) over (8.13-3) ... But initramfs-tools should have a dependency on the minimal coreutils it needs to avoid such issues. Thanks, Marc -- "A mouse is a device used to point at the xterm you want to type in" - A.S.R. You must upgrade fully to stable before installing anything from unstable. There is no requirement in policy to add versioned dependencies in unstable when the minimum version is less than that in stable.
