Hi,
I am facing the same issue on a Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 8, which boots
fine with a vanilla kernel built locally (4.5-rc6).

It boots using UEFI boot protocol.

No, nothing more is displayed with these parameters. It never leaves
Grub screen:

Yes. The kernel boots fine with that parameter.

Yes, same problem with the current Linux (4.5-rc7) package from experimental.
