Hi,

current Linux kernels in Debian are compiled with CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR but not with CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_STRONG:

$ grep STACKPROT /boot/config-4.2.0-1-amd64
CONFIG_HAVE_CC_STACKPROTECTOR=y
CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR=y
# CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_NONE is not set
CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_REGULAR=y
# CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_STRONG is not set

Now that the kernel is compiled with gcc 4.9 (which is required for CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_STRONG), could you please activate this option ?
