Bug#803087: Acknowledgement (hangs often after upgrade to 4.2.0. last time: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000040)

FWIW: did it again: pressed Ctrl-Win-c while in evince leading to

Oct 26 14:57:01 hopa kernel: [ 3561.805553] gnome-shell[2221]: segfault at 18 ip 00007f288a494c22 sp 00007ffd7e8f48f0 error 4 in libatspi.so.0.0.1[7f288a47e000+31000]

which I have of stretch state -- so will upgrade now

$> acpolicy libatspi2.0-0
libatspi2.0-0:
  Installed: 2.18.0-1
  Candidate: 2.18.0-1
  Version table:
     2.18.1-1 0
        600 http://http.debian.net/debian/ sid/main amd64 Packages
 *** 2.18.0-1 0
        900 http://http.debian.net/debian/ stretch/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

That in turn resulted in resetting the resolution (I am scared to try to reset
it back atm ;) ) upgraded the library and will reboot to see/report if
Ctrl-Win-c in evince keeps crashing gnome-shell. But at least that is how I
ended up in a state whenever changing resolution later resulted in a complete
stall.
