did that and now he told me, that the patch is "queued" for the 4.3
kernel. If you still can't see it, I'll try to work it out.

Thanks for that. I tested today the patch on the current jessie kernel
(3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt11-1.1 (2015-07-16) x86_64 GNU/Linux)
and the timeout test with disconnected network works fine.
