Bug#792323: linux-image-4.0.0-2-amd64: display doesn't detach when running newest kernel on Lenovo T450s

Package: src:linux
Version: 4.0.8-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Running Gnome 3.16.2, plugging my (lid closed) Lenovo T450s into its dock which
has a DisplayPort connection to a Dell monitor (2560x1440), the monitor is
autodetected and set as primary monitor, with the built-in screen apparently
disabled. Disconnecting the laptop and opening it up results in the system
still thinking that the external monitor is attached, which causes it to switch
to default extended displays. Since the laptop thinks that the screen is still
attached, I have to either disable it or switch it to mirrored mode to use the
laptop normally.

Not sure that this is actually a problem with the kernel, but this issue is
completely absent when I boot with the older kernel, linux-image-4.0.0-1-amd64
version 4.0.2-1. This issue was happening with both version 4.0.7-1 of linux-
image-4.0.0-2-amd64 and the current 4.0.8-1 version.
