Such things are best tracked by the BTS, especially if the intention is
to get it into stable-proposed-updates. I've hopefully directed this to

The commit you mentioned below went into v3.17-rc7, which AFAICT hit
Debian experimental via 3.17-1~exp1, hence the notfound.

Since Jessie is already released it will need to go into the next point
release, which I think happens via stable-proposed-updates. But, yes, I
think this can and should be fixed.

Is the kernel otherwise usable on Juno? (e.g. if you workaround this
with a suitable console= in $bootargs)
